A quiet space for passing time

Pokélid Journey

I’ve recently taken on a new personal quest for my years in Japan—the Pokélid Challenge. As far as I know, there are 443 Pokélids scattered across the country, and to be honest, some of them aren’t exactly easy to reach when you’re balancing work and everyday responsibilities.

Anyway, for this surprisingly ambitious side quest, Lester—who’s taking on the Pokélid Stamp Rally on Pokémon GO—and I will be snapping photos of each lid with our feet, like so:

This was our very first Pokélid, spotted at Yasaka Shrine in Higashiyama, Kyoto. I’ll probably end up creating a page for each prefecture, so updates on the lids may be a little sporadic.

With that said, This is where I’m keeping track of it all —some prefectures generous with Pokélids, others a bit more elusive.
